Terry Schreiber- Artistic Director (Scene Study)
Terry Schreiber
Featured in Eva Mekler's, The New Generation of Acting Teachers, Terry Schreiber has been teaching and directing for over 38 years. On Broadway he directed the Tony-nominated play K2, The Trip Back Down starring John Cullum, and Devour the Snow. Off-Broadway his directing credits include Desire Under the Elms at The Roundabout Theatre with Kathy Baker and Feedlot at Circle Repertory with Jeff Daniels. He has directed at regional theatres around the country including The Guthrie Theatre, Syracuse Stage, Hartman Theatre Co., Pittsburgh Public Theatre, Buffalo Arena Stage (directing Celeste Holm and Betty Buckley), and George Street Playhouse. Internationally, Terry has directed numerous American plays in Japan and teaches a summer workshop at the French American Cinema Theatre in Paris. Productions at the T. Schreiber Studio include: Hedda Gabler, Uncle Vanya, The Seagull, Orpheus Descending, The Iceman Cometh, Suddenly Last Summer, Summer and Smoke, Miss Julie, Joe Egg, Hamlet, Of Mice and Men, The Crucible, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Birthday Party, The Homecoming, How I Learned to Drive, Sweet Bird of Youth, Night of the Iguana, and The Real Thing.

Peter Jensen- Associate Artistic Director (Scene Study/ Conservatory)
Peter Jensen
Prior to joining the T. Schreiber Studio as its Associate Artistic Director, Peter Jensen was a member of the Core Faculty of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts for over 12 years and served as the 3rd year Academy Company Director. He is a graduate of AADA where he received the Max Fisher Award. He is also an alumnus of TSS where he studied with Terry Schreiber. He studied acting with Uta Hagen and Chuck Olsen (Actor's Studio). He has performed Off-Broadway and on film and television. His New York directing credits include The Glass Menagerie at the Sanford Meisner Theatre, the New York premiere of the Canadian hit, The Wild Guys, at the Miranda Theatre, Home Free and Ludlow Fair by Lanford Wilson and Lunchtime by Leonard Melfi. Productions with The Academy Company include Lie of the Mind, Burn This, Creadeux Canvas, Biloxi Blues, Snakebit, Blood Wedding, The Wager, A Flea in Her Ear, Three Sisters and Uncle Vanya. Directing credits at T. Schreiber include Hurlyburly, A Taste of Honey, Marvin's Room, You Can't Take It With You, The Real Inspector Hound, The Actor's Nightmare, and Fifth of July.
Julie Garfield (Scene Study)
July Garfield
Julie Garfield, an accomplished actress on stage, screen and television, graduated from the Neighborhood Playhouse where she studied with Sanford Meisner and William Esper. She has also studied with Robert Lewis, Stella Adler and is a member of the Actor's Studio where she worked with Lee Strasberg. She began teaching in 1984 at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, then at the Lee Strasberg Institute, and Ensemble Studio Theatre. She won the Theatre World Award for her performance as Sonya in Uncle Vanya at the Roundabout Theatre. She has performed many of the great roles in the theatre and has worked with some of our most notable actors and directors including Robert DeNiro, Martin Scorsese, Elaine May, Marian Seldes, and George C. Scott. Julie is proud to be the daughter of John Garfield.

Susan Pilar (Scene Study/ Audition Workshop/ Summer Intensive)
Susan Pilar
Susan Pilar has performed in New York with Lincoln Center (Broadway), Manhattan Theatre Club, The Public Theatre (NYSF), Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Raw Space (Actor’s Studio). Her regional credits include the Guthrie Theatre, American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, The Shakespeare Theatre (The Folger), Passage Theatre, Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts. She has appeared on TV in Law and Order, Cosby, One Life to Live, Guiding Light, Another World, and As the World Turns. She received her M.F.A. from The American Conservatory Theatre. She has been teaching, directing, and private coaching for over 10 years and is on staff at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Pamela Scott (Scene Study/ Beginning Technique)
Pam Scott
Pamela Scott comes to T. Schreiber Studio from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts where she is currently on faculty and also directs. She is an alumnus of TSS, a graduate of AADA, and has studied with, and also assisted, Sandra Seacat. Pamela is the artistic director and founder of the Aching Dogs Theatre Company and teaches at The School for Film and Television. She has performed in NYC at the Public Theatre, West Bank Downstairs Theatre and The Irish Arts Center, among others. As a playwright, her 14 One Acts have been produced in NYC, LA and FL. Her play Daddy’s Boy was a winner in the Gold Coast Players Short Play Contest, and was recently selected for a workshop for PS-NBC (HERE) along with her play The Heist. Her play The Unwrapping of Christmas won the Columbia University Dramatist’s Alan Contini Award for Best New Play, and was subsequently produced at The Irish Arts Center in NYC, where she was an independent writing fellow. She is a member of the Actors Studio Playwriting Director’s Process Unit under the direction of Estelle Parsons and Arthur Penn. Pamela is currently working on several screenplays.

Tracy Trevett (Scene Study)
Tracy Trevett
Tracy has been an acting coach and teacher for over 15 years. She's trained with Larry Moss, Sam Schacht, RADA for acting, Ed Dixon for singing, Liz Dixon for voice, and David Craig for musical performance. Tracy has been a faculty member of the American Academy of the Dramatic Arts since 1992 working as a director and teacher of acting and acting styles. Recent directorial credits include: The Young Ladies of... by/with Taylor Mac at PS 122, Tape by Stephen Belber at the Independent Theater, Low Level Panic by Clare McIntyre at American Theatre of Actors and many others. She is a founding member of Apple Corps Theatre and received her BA at Tufts University and St. Andrew's in Scotland.

Robert Verlaque (Beginning Intensive/ Conservatory/ Summer Intensive)
Bob Verlaque
Robert has been a professional actor, director, and writer for over 25 years. He recently appeared opposite Harvey Keitel in ABC’s Path to 9/11, and in The Newsroom on PBS. He has extensive film, television and theatre credits and is currently seen in several national commercials. He is a produced playwright, and has two screenplays under option. Robert has been a member of the faculty at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, The Ensemble Studio Theatre Institute, and Toronto’s Equity Showcase Theatre.
Sally Dunn (Scene Study)
Sally Dunn

Sally Dunn has been affiliated with the T. Schreiber Studio since 1979. She co-starred with Jean Stapleton in The Showoff and has performed major roles in New York at the Roundabout, the York Theatre Company, and Primary Stages. Her regional credits include the Guthrie Theatre, the Kennedy Center, Syracuse Stage, the Asolo Theatre, and the Pittsburgh Public Theatre. She appeared as Rosalind in the PBS production of As You Like It, and her film work includes The Verdict (Sydney Lumet) and Nashville (Robert Altman). Peter Miner (On Camera/ Summer Intensive)
Peter Miner
Peter Miner directed One Life to Live for 20 years, winning two Emmys and receiving eight Emmy nominations. He currently teaches film direction with an emphasis on working with actors at the Columbia University Graduate Film School. He has written and directed several short films, one an award winner, and has directed Off-Off Broadway and in regional theatre. A noted acting coach for several years, along with his wife Diane, Peter works with actors for auditions and performances (often engaged by shows or networks to work with actors already cast). Ellen Parks (Film Acting Technique)
Ellen Parks, C.S.A has twenty-four years of professional casting experience, including both television and film, and ranging from low budget projects to network and studio fare. She has done casting work for Martin Scorsese, Alexander Payne, David O. Russel, Joel and Ethan Coen, George Romero, and David Letterman, in addition to working with numerous first time filmmakers. Ellen's work is notable for high-profile ensemble casts (Flirting with Disaster), as well as for the introduction of new and re-emerging talent (Sideways, Secretary, Spanking the Monkey, Manny & Lo, Song Catcher), giving actors such as MacCauly Culkin, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Scarlett Johansson, Vera Farmiga, and Maggie Gyllenhaal their first important roles. Actors from films she has cast have garnered more than twenty five acting awards and nominations. Ellen won the 2005 Artios Casting Award for Sideways, the 2004 Artios Casting Award for Secretary and an Artos nomination in 1996 for Flirting with Disaster. Ellen has professionally coached actors on set, both here and abroad.
John Howard Swain (Commercial Acting)
John Howard Swain
John Howard Swain as a veteran actor, director and teacher brings a broad range of experience, from both sides of the camera, to the classroom. As an actor John has guest starred in dozens of network television shows from the legendary Hill Street Blues to the current Law & Order SVU. He also starred in a number of movies of the week and in the mini-series Family of Spies and Blind Faith. His film credits include Best Seller, Angels in the Outfield and The Tenderloin. In addition to his film and TV work he has also starred in more than 200 national television commercials. As a director John has staged theatrical productions all acorss the country including productions in New York City, Los Angeles and San Francisco. As a film director he has directed three films: Whose Life?, Uncommon, and Stand By (an official entry to the 2001 Sundance Festival). As a teacher John was the founder of one of San Francisco's most prestigious acting programs, Full Circle Productions. Students from his program continue to work across the globe starring on Broadway, in network television series, and in film.

Page Clements (Shakespeare/ Vocal Production/ Dialect)
Page Clements
An actress and private coach in New York, Page is a graduate of Wesleyan College in Macon, GA and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, receiving degrees in acting from both institutions. She served as an associate professor of voice and speech at AADA for nine years and has appeared in over forty productions throughout the country, including The Roundabout Theatre, The Northeast Theatre, The Metropolitan Playhouse, and Huckleberry Productions. Page is a founding member of Highwire, Inc. an educational and theatrical touring company currently in its third season. Her vocal instruction is greatly influenced by the works of Patsy Rodenburg, Edith Skinner, and Kristin Linklater. Page was named the Backstage Readers Choice 2009 Favorite Dialect Coach and Favorite Vocal Coach.
Lynn Singer (Vocal Production)
Lynn Singer
Lynn Singer, an actress and voice teacher, has been acting and teaching in New York for almost two decades. She is a prominent voice-over announcer, and was a member of the faculty of Yale University for eight years. As an actress, she has appeared Off- Broadway and on television and film. Carol Reynolds (Body Dynamics)
Carol Reynolds
An actress and dancer, Carol Reynolds is affiliated with the American Dance Therapy Association and the Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis. Previously with the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, she has tailored a specialized program for actors. She has taught dance at several colleges across the county and at the Dance Theatre of Harlem.
