The 4-Week Summer Intensive provides actors
with a vigorous intensive program integrating On-Camera
work with Vocal Production and Acting Technique.
Within the framework of behaving truthfully under imaginary circumstances you will explore character creation, needs, obstacles, and being in the moment in both the On-Camera Class and the Acting Technique class.
On-Camera work (Peter Miner) will include improvisation, action work, character monologues and action verb exercises. You will move to in-depth work on a scene from film or television. Students will also be offered the opportunity to be camera operators.
Acting Technique (Robert Verlaque) will include a wide variety of individual and group exercises to open up and develop each actor’s instrument and fine tune the actor’s listening and responding skills.
Vocal Production (Page
Clements) will help the actor to strengthen breath
control and support, release tension in the voice, improve
articulation and diminish regional sounds.
